I'm a strategic marketer with over ten-years' experience in the B2B technology sector and marketing industry. My expertise spans the full spectrum: brand building, traditional, digital, and data-driven marketing. From conception to execution, I have launched brands into new and international markets, and run successful, growth-minded marketing teams across New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. One of my proudest career achievements to date is growing the Writer's Toolbox brand identity, community, and marketing team from the ground up.

I am currently the Marketing Director at the DMA: the UK's largest marketing trade association with over 700 members. I started as Director of Brand and Content, before being promoted to Marketing Director in my first three months. In my first six months at the DMA, I have delivered:
- Transformation to a new CRM complete with marketing automations, finance integrations, and a single customer-viewpoint.
- Completed the two-year merger of the IDM and DMA branding.
- Commenced the new DMA website.
- Successfully launched the new Professional Membership (SAAS) offering.
- Achieved a 15% increase in event and webinar attendance.
- Executed the new DMA brand strategy across all channels.
During my tenure, I contributed to exponential company growth, increasing from three customers to over 600, establishing Writer’s Toolbox as a market leader in the NZ and Australian EdTech industry. My achievements include:
- Managing and overseeing corporate rebrand.
- Leading internal digital transformation and marketing technology implementation.
- Designing a new account-based marketing programme to retain Top 50 accounts.
- Achieving highest team feedback score within the leadership team.
- Delivering to YOY growth targets and ROI.
The objective of my role at Write that Essay was to drive new business results through events and marketing, and grow the size and skill-set of the marketing team. My achievements included:
- Delivering multi-channel & digital campaigns yielding 30% conversion to new B2B sales.
- Increasing event attendance from 10 to over 250 attendees; with continual high satisfaction rating.
- Growing the team three-fold and introducing a new marketing skills programme.
During my Master’s degree I worked part-time as a teaching and research assistant.
My achievements included:
- My students being awarded three of the five end-of year project awards for best marketing initiatives.
- Supported my Masters Supervisor on two published papers in A-ranked journals.
